The ides of March

It's mid-march already. Wow. This school year started off so slow, but it's already Spring Break, thank goodness! I know the kids (and the teachers) will already have their minds on summer vacation once we got back, so I'm enjoying a few relaxing days off.

We haven't been up to much so far. My biggest project is organizing my closet. Yee-ha! It's the fun kind of organizing it, though, because I'm discovering more of my pre-baby clothes that I can now fit into, so it's like shopping in my own closet. It's been a long road back, but I'm getting there. I'm planning on running another half marathon in April with my friend Amy, and maybe I'll do another marathon in December. We'll see.

And now for the baby pictures!

Daddy's been cheering on the Baylor basketball team, so Indy decided to get into the spirit too, wearing my old shirt. He's giving the Care Bear Stare in this picture apparently.
We did go out of town last weekend, to Georgetown, to visit Casey's mom and had a nice little trip. Casey got to have breakfast with an old friend, and we all went to church together. It was fun.
And of course, bath time fun. Daddy decided Indy needed a Mohawk, and this is the result. He even makes a Mohawk darling.
The best part of the break is getting extra mommy time with this cuddly, sweet boy. He is such a treat. He's crawling all over, pulling up, exploring. It's fun to watch him discover this world, and all the noises he can make like the clang of the dog bowl on the kitchen floor, the twang of the door stop, the fwip of the dog door...!
