Casey and I got back to the car after a run at the lake to see that our car had been broken into. They smashed the driver's side window. Stole my purse, keys, cell phone, digital camera and our GPS navigator.
Highly irksome. We waited around for the cops for a while, but as they had my driver's license and keys, I was worried that they might go ahead and rob our house as well. Thankfully, not.
It's just frustrating, expensive, time-consuming to replace all that stuff. But it'll get done, and it sure could have been worse...if we had returned from our run with no car. I am thankful for that as well.

oh i'm sorry! that's so frustrating, v. i'm sure if those people knew how nice you & casey are, they would never do that to you!
Ugggghhh that's a bummer ... it's such a violation. Were you at Katy? My friend got broken into there this summer. It's so burdensome to have your locks changed and file the police report and all that.
Wow...Sorry to hear about that. It was probably pretty tough to drive back home with out any keys to start the car. Watch out for ID theft.
i'm sorry! that really stinks. what a hassle. i am glad they didn't steal the whole thing. but, i know that is frustrating.
you might also be frustrated that i tagged you on my blog. i understand. go take a look if you have time later....
booo thieves. such a pain. i once had my window smashed and (broken) radio stolen. out of my own gated parking garage. the stole some pretty cool sunglasses too. so that sucks. i feel your pain. sorry.
I am so sorry too! I just don't understand why people have to do that! I hope you guys can still have a really good weekend.
